It was all smiles when Emmanuella Luter was announced as the winner of second edition of Falconet Beauty Pageant Nigeria 2016, held at the weekend in Sheraton Abuja.
The Chief Executive Officer(CEO), Roy Osang Romanus of Fabpan brand name under which the pageant was organized in his speech, said the reason behind the beauty pageant is to empower and carefully select an ambassador, advocate for youth development as well as create gender equality in sport promotion and development at the grassroots in Nigeria.
According to him, the program Fabpan sport initiative which has endorsement of the Federal Ministry of Youth and sports is designed to use sport as a reliable source and important tool to curb social vices among young people, as well as empower orphanages and the girl child to maximize potentials in the sport industry.
The event also featured, the Fabpan merit award to recognise and celebrate those that have done well on youth development, empowerment and capacity building in the society.
